Located in Beautiful Southwestern Colorado… Rest EZ Ranch sits on 40 lush acres of peaceful pastures and sits at 7004 feet elevation. We are family owned and operated and happily live on the ranch. We have 25 years experience working with all types of horses, from Race Horses to Show Horses, Endurance Horses and all around Pleasure Horses. We love them all and feel that they all deserve to have the most personalized, loving, quality care possible. Your horse will think he made it to horse heaven when he gets here.
This is a great place to allow your foal to grow strong before he/she enters training. They self exercise all day long at high altitudes, which allows all of their muscles and their lungs to develop naturally. It would be a gift to your horses body, mind and spirit to allow them to spend time here.
We offer personalized care plans. Whatever your horses needs are we are willing to create a daily schedule to meet and exceed your expectations.
Whether your horse is recovering from an injury and needs daily treatment; just needs some time to graze, stretch out and reconnect with nature; or needs rehabilitation. We will work with you and The Veterinarian every step of the way to make sure your horses needs are met.
We offer pasture by day, barn stall by night… or whatever your horse needs. Our barn stalls each have automatic heated waterers, fresh shavings, and lights. Stalls are indoor outdoor so the horses can choose to stay inside a 12X12 or go outside to a 12X12 outdoor pen. Stalls are cleaned daily. Our pasture grass is mainly lush orchard. The hay quality we get locally is some of the best in our country.
Laying Up your horse at Rest EZ Ranch will be a decision your horse will appreciate.
Fees:
Basic lay-up includes pasture time daily, an indoor/outdoor barn stall with clean shavings inside, blanketing every night, high quality hay and grain. Please call to discuss pricing as each horses specific needs vary.
Additional services include feeding supplements, nursing care, leg wrapping, magnetic therapy, blue light therapy, grooming, hand walking, exercising, body clipping before they are returned to you, natural horsemanship ground training and handling and colt startng… The list goes on…
We can arrange for reasonable, quality transportation for your horse to and from our ranch.
Third party services like veterinary care, farrier care, medication, supplies, handling, hauling etc. will be billed separately.
